This is a plain-language summary of how SilverFrame handles your information. It is not legal advice.

The short version

  • Your scripts and breakdowns are private to your account. We don’t sell them or share them with anyone else.
  • To break a script down, we send its text to our AI provider, Anthropic. Their terms for business customers say they don’t use this data to train their models.
  • You can delete any script, or your whole account, at any time.

What we collect

  • Your email address, so we can send you login links and identify your account.
  • The scripts you upload, and the breakdowns, shot lists and edits you make, so they’re saved under My Scripts.
  • Feedback you send us, and your email address if you choose to include it.
  • Basic usage information, like which pages are visited, counted anonymously without cookies, and technical logs our hosting provider keeps to run the site.

How we use it

  • To run the service: log you in, break down your scripts and save your work.
  • To reply to feedback and support requests.
  • To understand how the product is used, so we can fix problems and improve it.

We don’t use your scripts to train AI models, and we don’t use your email for marketing without asking first.

Services that handle your data for us

  • Supabase stores your account, scripts and breakdowns, and handles logging in.
  • Anthropic processes the text of each script you upload to produce the breakdown.
  • Vercel hosts the website and provides anonymous visitor statistics.
  • Our email provider delivers your login links.

These companies only process your data to provide their service to us.

Keeping and deleting your data

We keep your scripts until you delete them. Deleting a script removes it from your account right away. Deleting your account, from the link at the bottom of the app, permanently removes your account and every script in it. Copies may remain in our providers’ backups for a short time before they are overwritten.

Security

Your data is sent over encrypted connections, and our database only lets each account read its own scripts. No system is perfectly secure, so please don’t upload anything you’re not allowed to share with a service like ours.

Children

SilverFrame isn’t intended for children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If we change how we handle your data, we’ll update this page and the date at the top. For significant changes, we’ll let you know before they take effect.
